A landscape seems like a safe, clear starting point for a beginner, but painting smooth gradients with a brush across large areas is not easy. I discovered here that sometimes one brush lasts only one painting.
Years later someone told me they saw a woman with a ribbon in her hair inside the cloud formation. I had never noticed that :) .
